Winter 2024-2025
This unique program brings together players from high schools across the metro area. Match play coaching from high qualified teaching pros helps players prepare for the high school season without entering expensive tournaments. Over 35 schools participated in our winter league throughout the last three years! The 2024-25 season begins November 10.
Format: Pods of 10-20 players on a rotating biweekly schedule, likely playing every other weekend depending on numbers. Matches will take place bi-weekly (twice per month). Location of play will be determined based upon level of play. Each weekend event will include playing two, timed singles matches. Each player in the program will play at least 16 matches over the course of the winter, with opportunities to sub in for other pods free of charge. Play will run from the beginning of November 2024 through the end of March 2025.
Target Players
- Tennis players from high C/B squad, JV, and Varsity players from the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding suburbs
Singles Time and Place – $450
- Saturday evenings at The Fort from between (6:00-8:30pm)
- Sunday evenings at Baseline Tennis Center (between 5:00-8:30pm)
Following ability group placements, players will be sorted into pods at one of the following times
Baseline Pod Times:
1) 5-6:15pm
2) 6:20-7:35pm
3) 7:40-8:25pm
The Fort Pod Times:
1) 6:00-7:15pm
2) 7:15-8:30pm
Additional locations will depend on program numbers. Please do not register if you are unable to attend any one of the locations listed. Note that placements will be made strictly by ability grouping.
